Found in northern (Tung-hsiao, Kuei-ho harbor, Wan-li (Ref. 43539) and occasionally found in Shihman and Yehliu(Ref. 43538)) and southern (including Yun-gan and Hsiao-liu-chiu, and rarely found in Nanwan (Ref. 43538)) Taiwan (Ref. 43515) and reported from the Penghu Islands (Ref. 43515, 55073).
